Tips for doing Coffee Enemas»
If you have high blood pressure, use decaffeinated, rather than regular coffee. Decaf will prevent blood pressure spikes, and potential trips to the emergency room. Recently a close friend with moderating high blood pressure did a late afternoon coffee enema, which I do not recommend in the first place. Always do coffee enemas before 12 noon allowing the remainder of the day into the evening to stabilize from the experience.Six hours later his blood pressure was spiking, serious anxiety and fear set in, along with lightheadedness, so he had a friend take his woozy self to the emergency room. There he had to explain to the staff he did a coffee enema (picture this!) and after a few blank stares, several bad jokes, and one smart comment, (you should have used decaf) they preceded to check his vitals, told him to take some long deep breaths, watched him for an hour and sent him home. By then the jokes were improving, and though the emergency room staff was gracious, there's not doubt my friends event was the highlight story of the month. Buy Swiss water processed decaffeinated, organic coffee. Do not use commercial coffee for enemas, it is sprayed with chemicals and pesticides and these toxins will be going directly into your body through your rectum where it will quickly be absorbed into your system. This makes sense, yes? Buy organic coffee, at least for enema's, and frankly, if you are doing coffee enemas I will make an educated guess that you probably should not be drinking coffee anyway. For a healthier caffeine hit choose green tea, especially Dr. Less incredible Green Tea, or raw or roasted Yerba Mate for a strong matein boost.
