Seasons Change

When the seasons changed this fall I began making a lot of Hemp seed milk. I have dozens of recipes, my current favorite is to blend Hemp Milk with a tsp. freshly made ginger juice and a dash of powdered cardamom powder and a couple of tablespoons of Greener Grasses, yum!

Hemp seeds make an incredibly rich, raw, super quick and filling super food drink, and for many is the perfect before or after workout drink. Hemp Milk can be poured over buckwheat granola. Hemp Seeds are tiny nutritional powerhouses that are loaded with health enhancing essential fats omega-6 and omega-3.

Hemp seed oil is a rare and valuable source of gamma linolenic acid (GLA) and omega-3 pendant stearidonic acid (SDA), balanced in a perfect 3:1 ratio. Our bodies do not produce these oils, so we must eat the right amount of these fats to keep our cells in top-notch shape.

Quick to make, you can use hemp milk to replace water or juice in your daily smoothie, or use to replace dairy milk in recipes.
