Freeze Dried Durian 100 grams

“Monthong” Durian (aka King of Fruit) is a large spikey fruit with a sulfuric smell.  Almost everyone finds this fruit either repulsive or addictive.  Durian is rare in that it is a significant source of carbohydrates, healthy fats, and proteins. Durian is high in vitamin C, protein, calcium. There are many varieties of durians in Southeast Asian countries. “Monthong” is the most highly praised variety which is only produced in Thailand. Monthong is world renowned for being exquisitely creamy and delicious.

A typical durian has 5 sections of fruit. When it is ripe, a seam should be visible down the outside of each section of the shell. To eat, pull apart along the shell seams and remove the yellow pod of fruit inside.
